Does anyone remember hearing about the parents of a teen mother suing the parents of the teen father for child support?  I don’t know how that ended; it’s a good time to research that.  If something like that was more commonplace, what would be the effect?  I bet it would be more scared adults as opposed to more careful teens.

I have worked as a tutor, so I have seen my share of just who is motivated and why.  Nearly all of my struggling students didn’t have the interest in success that their parents did.  If only the parents’ drive could be transferred to their children.

Maybe I’m wrong, getting back to the subject.  I think it is possible that teen girls would be more careful and possibly refuse more unprotected sex.  Some people just want to be able to do what kids do.  I have to say that to a kid, it is awful to not have money for things they used to…I can just see them weighing mall shopping sprees against diapers and formula.  In that vein, those girls may have just enough pull.
